TV actor Sanjit Bedi, who rose to fame as Dr Omi on Star Plus' medical drama Sanjeevni, passed away on June 23 in a Mumbai hospital. He had been suffering from a brain ailment following which he had slipped into a coma. He is survived by his wife. The actor's last rites was reportedly held at the Chandanwadi crematorium in Marine Lines, South Mumbai, this morning.
