The family of Ranjith Nelluvelil, CEO of Kochi-based Lots Shipping who was shot dead in Sudan on Monday, had to bear another tragedy as his sister who had come to his house on hearing the news tripped down a staircase and died of serious head injuries.

The CEO of a Kochi-based shipping company has been shot dead in Sudan. Ranjith T Nelluvalli, 56, of Cherupuzha, Kannur, who was working with Lots Shipping Company at Marine Drive here, was killed during a theft attempt in south Sudan on Saturday.
