Brazil’s World Cup-winning captain Carlos Alberto died in Rio de Janeiro following a heart attack on Tuesday. He was 72. He played 53 games for Brazil and led them to the 1970 World Cup victory after scoring arguably the greatest goals in World Cup football history.
