Gowda, Luka disappoint in Shanghai Diamond League Meeting

US-based discus thrower, Vikas Gowda, representing India, clinched gold in the World Challenge Meeting at Kingston on Sunday with a throw of 61.38 metres.

India's leading discus thrower Vikas Gowda set a meet record of 65.82m, a season's best, during the Mesa Track and Field Classic held in Arizona last weekend. The previous record of 63.89m was set in 2006 by Adam Kuehl.
