June WPI extends deflationary trend for eight successive month; stands at -2.40%

The official Wholesale Price Index for ‘All Commodities’ for the month of June, 2015 rose by 0.5% to 178.6 (provisional) from 177.7 (provisional) for the previous month. Core Inflation stood at -0.9% for the month under review v/s -0.7% in May.
